Allergenicity:Fourteen of 16 Japanese pollen allergic subjects showed IgE binding to the pure protein in ELISA. Three of four had basophil activation (CD203c) positivity. All of these subjects were RAST class >2 positive. The 2016 publication in JACI demonstrates T cell reactivity as well as basophil activation.
