Allergenicity:Sera from 95 patients from Northern China allergic to Artemisia pollen (symptoms + SPT to A. desertorum and/or ImmunoCAP to A. vulgaris) were tested by ImmunoCAP. In an initial experiment, eight of 10 tested sera (80%) had IgE to nArt d 1, rArt d 1.0101 and rArt d 1.0102 with similar IgE binding capacities of both allergen variants. All 95 sera were tested with rArt v 1.0101 with positive IgE measured in 80 sera (84%).
