Control sera were from 13 patients tolerant to SFS but allergic to other foods. Eleven of 17 (65%) SFS-allergic but none of the 13 SFS-tolerant food-allergic patients had IgE to Hel a 15, as measured by ELISA with the natural purified allergen. |
